The boards and committees associated with Montgomery County Recreation are comprised of County residents interested in working on matters relating to recreation services. Participants provide a valuable service to the community by presenting viewpoints of County residents on a variety of recreation issues.

Countywide Recreation & Parks Advisory Board

The Board works on matters relating to recreation/park policies and services and assists in developing relationships with agencies in the County on matters affecting programs and services.

Sports Advisory Committee

The committee studies sports participation and opportunities in the County and makes recommendations to the County Executive and the Montgomery County Council.
